The Burren

The Burren stage is regarded as one of the toughest stages of the Junior Tour of Ireland. Riders race through the unique limestone landscape of the Burren, tackling rolling roads and steep climbs such as Carron and Castle Hill (Doonagore). The challenging terrain, strong coastal winds, and demanding climbs often split the peloton, making the stage a key test for general classification contenders.
